costs external logins in portal linked to dynamics 365 environment within the same license

Dear forum members,

we are currently in possession of a Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement plan license.

In addition to our Customer Service environment, we are setting up a customer portal / partner portal.

We have already given a number of external users access to this environment as a test to create tickets ourselves that are registered in our CS environment.

We now assume that there is no extra charge for this external access in the portal that is linked to our dynamics environment.

Now I read, however, that the portals at Microsoft have been adapted to Power Portals and that a 5000 verified external logins we would have to pay 3500 euros per month for.

Can someone confirm that this only applies to separate new environments that run alongside Dynamics. otherwise I wonder how I will get an invoice for the environment that I already have?

Hi partner,

I found this doc here about the portal license for you.

And according to the doc, you should pay 3500 euros for 5000 authenticated external users.

But since you bought CE, there should be a certain amount of logins for free. You could ask this questions in Power Apps community for more professional answers.
