Emails marked as SPAM

Looking for ideas here - a lot of emails sent from D365 Marketing, regardless of company, get marked as SPAM.  DKIM is setup and the SPAM Score feature says it is "low".  What else could we try?  I've checked to see if the sending domains are blacklisted and they are not.

I have the same question (0)

    Hi Stephani,

    Greetings!

you can go through this link for more details which explained why the emails are getting marked as SPAM.

you can reach out Microsoft support by raising a ticket to assist on this.

    Thank you!

    Hi Raju,

We followed that article and it still did not work.  That's why I was hoping for other ideas.

    1. Create clean, collaborative, and responsible content

We did this and confirmed, using the Marketing feature, that our SPAM score is very low

    2. Authenticate your sending domain

    This was completed.

    3. Avoid sending to invalid and inactive email address

We are testing to only 1 address

    4. Don't use purchased or rented mailing lists

We are testing only 1 address

    5. Send consistent volumes

Does not apply, testing an email

    6. Set up DKIM for your sending domain

Same as #2 above - we authenticated the sending domain

For anyone that also has this issue - we found that when we tested an email through a Customer Journey, it was not marked as SPAM.  It only gets marked as SPAM when using Test Send and we believe this is because of the link to the Subscription Center.  As you know, you cannot test the Subscription Center from Test Send, the link goes to a 404.  When using a Customer Journey, the link is good.  This is the only difference we found.

... works not in my tests... although the mails have been sent via a CJ, they landed in the SPAM folder...

to one of my test emailaddress neither the mail has not been sent, though it occours in Dynamics Marketing as delivered... (neither SPAM nor inbox)
