Is it possible to check a users Licence Type using Advanced Find in CRM .Looking at the posts earlier they appear to mention that this can be done by looking at the 'Licence Type' field for the systemuser entity. Is this correct ? I ask because I thought we had a few Team Member Licences and can only find user licence types of 'Service' or 'Enterprise' ?
Can someone verify it for me what I need to check for to determine a Team Member Licence or can it not be checked from CRM but needs Office365 ?
Hello,
Thanks for post on Microsoft Community.
'license type' that uses in 'Advanced Find' comes from attribute 'Caltype' of systemuser entity. And 'Caltype' doesn't have 'team member license' value. You may find more information from https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/customerengagement/on-premises/developer/entities/systemuser#BKMK_CALType .
I would suggest you check Team member license details from Office 365 admin center(https://admin.microsoft.com/)>Active users.
Thanks
I don't think it is useful, because only users with access to admin center can see those information. What is a possibility for CRM users to get in the form of view or throw advance find?
