Can a wave be canceled if Shipment is Confirmed

Dear

we have a transfer order that was released to warehouse, and the WORK was completed and Shipment is confirmed.

before shipment confirmation , i am usually able to REDUCE PICKED QTY

but what about after shipment ?

it is giving me "you cannot unpick a load that has been ship confirmed"

Correct, you will need to reverse the Shipment confirmation in order to reduce picked quantity.

Hi,

Don't you have packing slip already on your transfer order?

I can't remember it exactly since we developed another solution in terms of our client's requirements but, if your shipment created a packing slip for your transfer order, the only way is: Receiving it in the target warehouse and shipping back.

If it has not created the packing slip yet, you can reverse shipment confirmation with a button located in shipments form named "Reverse shipment confirmation"

Go to the associated Load -> Ship and Receive tab -> Reverse Shipment Confirmation button.

Hi Silvano,

I tested it in a standard AX2012 CU12 envrionment. As Colby mentioned, the "Reverse shipment confirmation" button is located on top ribbon, on Load form as seen in the screenshot below.

Once you reverse the shipment confirmation, application will let you reduce the quantity.

I received the exception when it was shipped and reversed the confirmation then was able to reduce picked quantity.

Please check.

thanks for all the help, the "Reverse Shipment confirmation" button is greyed out , is there a parameter in the setup to activate it

If you've posted a packing slip, you'll need to cancel the packing slip to be able to reverse the shipment confirmation.

Hi Silvano,

On shipment form it is greyed out, I noticed that, too.

Please use the one above the load lines.

Just hit the loadid on shipment line and use the button to reduce on the opening form
