Establishing link between Absence Setup and Absence Group

Hi,

Has anybody tried to associate employees with different absence groups? I am basically stuck at following -

Our company has different different categories of leaves (e.g. personal holidays, floating holidays, sick leave, etc.) which differ for each employee (though categories can be created around this). Now I understand that some of this can be setup through 'Absence codes' and 'Absence groups'. My question is: How do I associate employees to different multiple absence groups?

I can certainly create an association between employee and approver by using 'Absence setup' and 'employee -> employee dates -> absence -> absence setup', that however still does not associate absence group and absence setup.

Any advise will certainly be of great value.

Regards,

Manish
