Is there a way to create custom pricing for Vendors on subcontracts, which then pull through to estimates and actuals on project?
When subcontracting contract workers to different projects, prices will change on a per project basis. We would therefore start with a 'base price' per resource recorded on the purchase price list, and then negotiate a rate based on the work being undertaken on the project.
This price should pull through to the estimates and actuals on the project for time. However it only seems to use the figure on the purchase price list, ignoring the unit price entered on the subcontract.
Our external resources may have a range of different prices which may run concurrently on the same role and resource.
In the example I have scheduled a resource for 1 day. The purchase price list associated with the subcontract has a rate of £540 per day, but the unit price on the subcontract shows £500. The estimates on the project only show the £540.
