Hi All, GP Web client for 18.4 is installaed and opening from Server system where GP Web was installed , and able to access GP and perform all operations..
But from a client system through browser, i am able to open GP Web, able to login inside, but then not getting GP screen to loginto GP system from client web browser. It is hung, and keeps showing the screen below.
Pls. advice urgently
This usually means that Web Client on that machine can't find the Runtime Service which is what is used to load Dynamics GP into the browser window.
Runtime service is required that we apply the certificate on it, so, a good test, on this machine, is to see if you can ping the host name applied on the Runtime Service via the certificate, and have it show the IP Address of the server where Web Client is physically installed, where the Runtime Service would exist.
In most cases, we see this when using a wildcard certificate, where the host name is not the FQDN of the server where Web Client is installed, thus you'd need some type of DNS forwarding to have the certificate host name/DNS forwarding to the IP address of the Web Client server.
If you have a multi-server environment for Web Client, Runtime Service would be on the session host servers.
