Hi,

I am wondering if it is possible to do multiple item calculation for BOM in ax 2012 r3 in a similar way we do for single item calculation.

As in right now the out of box functionality, allows us to add a quantity for one item at a time, is there a way or how can I modify or change this functionality and allow the quantity field to get display when multiple item is created - such that we can add quantity value for multiple items at a time.

Okarnaukhov,

This will add the quantity only for one item. Whereas I want to change the quantity value for multiple items at one.

Assume the quantity for items 111, 123, 1234, 12345, ..... 100090, 100091, 100092 is 50.00. So for all this items I want the 50.00 value to be changed to 20,000.00 at once. Instead of opening and calculating one by one for all this items.

How can I do that?

Go to Released products/Action pane/Manage costs>Item price

In this form, you can calculate your price per multiple quantities

I want to input the quantity when I am selecting multiple items from the below form:

Such that when the item ID is created under the item price the user added quantity should also show up instead of the default values in the following two form:

Right now the quantity from the two forms are using the default value on creation and so we have to manually go one by one and perform single item calculation.

Whereas, we have a bunch of item where the demand for quantity is 100000 or so, whereas the default is 50. So 2000 or 2500 items need to be manually done and change the quantity, any way to update the quantity all at once from both the form.

I cannot change the default quantity as on the production or manufacturing 50 value works proper for them.

You should be able to do the exact same procedure for a BOM item... At what time do you want to do the calculation? If it is price versions you want, you can input quantity for the calculation.
