Getting many 4776 with anonymous authentication on

As the title says we are getting way too much EV entries if anonymous authentication is enabled for CRM. It doesn't bother the users but the security department isn't happy about it.

Every single entry looks like this:

The computer attempted to validate the credentials for an account.

Authentication Package:	MICROSOFT_AUTHENTICATION_PACKAGE_V1_0
Logon Account:	CRMAdministratorNameWithoutDomain
Source Workstation:	ServerName
Error Code:	0xC0000064

We tried to disable Anonymous Authentication but the email router seems to rely on it. What can we about it?

After further research we found out that these errors affect not only email router but also custom WCF application that using Organization Service and probably some other applications in our system.

The text of the error is "The HTTP request is unauthorized with client authentication scheme 'Anonymous'. The authentication header received from the server was 'Negotiate,NTLM'."

You shouldn't have Anonymous Authentication enabled, and I'm not surprised that you get the errors, as CRM expects users to be authenticated. I think you need to work out why the Email Router is not working unless you have Anonymous Authentication enabled, and fix that - it shouldn't need Anonymous Authentication.

What errors do you get with the Email Router when Anonymous Authentication is off ?
