Transaction Notification at intercompany setup in Business central

I want to know the usage of transaction notification feature in intercompany setup. How does it work? I think we can use to notify when company send intercompany transaction to intercompany partners. Is it right or not?

    Hello, The Transaction Notification field in Intercompany Setup in Business Central helps notify intercompany partners when a new intercompany transaction is created. When enabled, it flags the transaction within Business Central, ensuring that the receiving company is aware of the document. However, it doesn’t automatically send emails or external messages—it simply marks the transaction for internal notification.
