Registering items on handheld device from a Project Purchase Order AX 2012 R3

Hi all,

After a little help please!

I've set up a work template & location directive to be able to register items that have derived from a Project based Purchase Order. (in this example a purchased item has been loaded onto an items requirement)

When I go to register the items on the hand held device i get the error message "This Method must be passed a valid Work ID" it creates a batch number and then rather than putting the items into inspection it puts them into the default location.

After pressing ok the next screen shows the error message "The License plate id is not valid" and shows a blank field where the LP should have generated.

Having debugged it appears to be pointing towards the WHSLicensePlateLabelBuild class. and maybe the license plate number is not being generated!

Have I missed a step or can AX not create work for Project based PO's!

All works fine on items derived from Production Orders.

Any help greatly received.
