Hello,
I am using Microsoft Dynamics GP 2018 web version, when a user opens a field they are not able to close the tab or click on the "X" that appears in the upper right corner. The "X" displays invisible or white, this should display as a red "X" to close out.
Any suggestions on how to restore the "X" in the upper right corner?

I have not seen that before, is it only occurring in the PO Entry window? I would recommend that you open a support case, so that we can troubleshoot this issue further.

Your issue seem to be related with the fact that GP is executed in a remote desktop (RDP) session, and thus some windows are 'off' the screen apparently... or badly drawn by the server.
Try hit the ALT-Space bar combination and that should open a context window on the form to allow move the window around and/or close it.
GP Power Tools from winthropdc does have a feature built-in that prevents this type of behaviour and GP forms opening outside of the visible space.
IT also looks like that you're running GP in the Web client form, so why do open GP in a Remote session, whereas you could run that GP web client directly from the user's web browser ??
