ActiveX error while changing the company (Citrix)

Hi Experts,

System is throwing ActiveX error while change the company. This happens only while accessing AX through Citrix.

The error:

One or more ActiveX controls could not be displayed because either:

1. Your current security settings prohibit running ActiveX controls on this page, or
2. You have blocked a publisher of one of the controls.
As a result, the page may not display correctly.

Please guide.

Thanks,

N.Sridhar

Can you find the place showing the error? (E.g. by logging the call stack in Info.add()?

Does it happen in all cases (all environments, all users, all client machines)?

Can't it be related to role centers? What if you disable them?

    Hi Martin,

Unfortunately, the error is not occurring in development environment; happens only at customer environment.

    Thanks,

    N.Sridhar

When you say accessing AX through Citrix, is it done from browser? If yes try below steps

    Go to Internet Options.

On the Security tab, click Custom Level. Try modifying(Enable) options that are set for ActiveX Controls.

    What about my other questions?

    Hi Martin,

The error is coming only for specific user. I tried changing the roles for the user who is facing the issue similar to the user who is not facing the issue. But still no luck.

    Thanks,

    N.Sridhar

The messages says "You have blocked a publisher of one of the controls". Maybe this one user has a different setup (e.g. trusted sites) that other users.

By the way, I was talking about role centers, not security roles. Role centers are the EP page displayed directly in AX client, which would explain what web page it's talking about.

    Hi Martin and Mohammad,

Thanks for your valuable inputs. The issue is resolved.

Reason for the issue: Profile for the user was not added in system administration.

    Regards,

    N.Sridhar
