This should be easy but I cannot find. I want to limit the list of Units on offer to our users. I cannot see the Orginazation, Setup as on the Learn site. Does anyone know the permissions required and where to find.

Hi Martyn,

The full path to the Units setup form is: Organization administration > Setup > Units > Units.

If you can't see this option, you can check if you have permissions via security settings.
Do you want to limit the units in general or is a specific list per item your requirement?

It would be reducing what we see from the general list.

The issue I have is finding the correct role to see the Organization administration > Setup > Units > Units.

Hi Martyn,

On each form, you can go to Options > Security diagnostics. You will then see all roles, duties, and privileges that provide access to the form.

In this case the roles:

Product designer

Product design manager

Materials manager

Process engineer

Process engineering manager

Warehouse manager

On the security configuration form, you can check if these roles do have the duty of inquiring (read-only) or maintaining (full access) linked.

Inquire into units of measurement master

Maintain unit of measure master
