Hi All , I see this screen while installing Reporting Services Extensions for AX 2012 R3.

Connect to a Sql server database  - what do I fill in for Database ?  Is it AX Transactional DB or ReportServer DB ?

Here is the screen-shot

Thanks for your help,

San

thank you Nitesh, I just verified this one. But after installing Reporting Services Extensions I am getting this error if I try to access any report from AX client:

Error while setting server report parameters. Error message: The report server has encountered a configuration error. Logon failed for the unattended execution account. (rsServerConfigurationError)

If I try to access any report from IE directly then I get this error:

The report server has encountered a configuration error. Logon failed for the unattended execution account. (rsServerConfigurationError)

Log on failed. Ensure the user name and password are correct. (rsLogonFailed)

Logon failure: the user has not been granted the requested logon type at this computer

User is admin role in AX and has got all the roles on Report Server (Browser, Content Manager, DynamicsAXBrowser, My Reports, Publisher, Report Builder).

    Any help is great

    Thanks,

    San

Execution account of SSRS reporting services and Business connector account should be same

I suspect these two accounts are not set properly

BCProxy and SSRS account were both same for sure. This worked for me:

from this link I understood that BC proxy account needs Allow log on locally rights in Local Security Policy> Local Policies> User Rights Assignment.

For some reason this was disabled for me in this VM (may be because it was AD too), so I just gave BC proxy account domain admin and Admin rights. This resolved the issue
