MR 2012 CU9 - Error in YTD Unit Account Number

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

I have a client on GP 2013 SP2, running MR 2012 CU8, with 3 companies.

One company is a UK based company so everything they do is recorded in British Pounds.  They are running a consolidated report and all the data returns the correct information in USD except the YTD UK Unit Accounts.  The monthly and budget figures are correct it is only the YTD total this appears to be 13 times the amount it should be.

Glad to hear that CU9 finally gave you the stability.  Running into all sorts of issues with MR2012 on CU8 with Datamart and going back to Legacy.

Jon I put the right version in the header and mistyped it in the body of my message.  They are on CU9 and they are finally stable.  It is the first version that allows them to get the right information on all of their reports for multi-currency.   We are having issues with the CU10 Hotfix install on another client's server and I don't want to introduce more problems.

There have been a significant number of improvements since CU 8 for MR. If possible, I would try upgrading them to CU 10 with the CU 10 Hotfix and see if this resolves the issue.

Column is a standard FD/Current and FD/YTD and since all other lines return the correct information the column is working as expected.  They have about 70 rows of data and only this one row pulling the Units for the UK company is returning the incorrect YTD figure.

    Nancy,

Please include an image of the Column definition.  I am imagining you may have some options configured in your column definition like PERIOD BASE:12 and the YTD selection, which may be duplicating your data.
