Quick question , i have a Nav 2017 client who is switching their AD. They moving their whole Active Directory to a new Forest due to a company change. Has anyone tried this and if yes , how did Navision react? Did you have issues when they switched over to the new AD

I come across with similar situation with the domain migrating in process. Even I have setup 1 way trust and migrate the SID, I still need to recreate the NAV users? Thought NAV recongised SID so as long as it is migrated and trusted, I might not need to recreate users?
Excellent, Thanks Stefano , then would that be in Nav or in AD that i need to recreate the users , they look to be around 300 users? im asking because im migrate 2 Dynamics NAV 2017 servers from one domain to another, however the IP address and machine name remain the same in the new environment and the Network guys have promised and agreed that the trusts and DNS will be in place. They going to use Quest manager for AD and exchange to perform the migration for AD Objects, mailboxes, workstations and servers. however the Nav servers are being placed on my shoulders to manage that move. dont want to do it to implode on me
No problem for NAV. If you change the domain, you need to recreate the users.
