I'd like to report a bug found in NAV 2013 version 7.00.33781.
Table 370, function Readsheet - "CellData.HasValue" will error with a meaningless (not telling you which cell is the problem) error if the cell it is reading has a mixture of normal and bold text.
The error is ".... Microsoft.Dynamics.Nav.OpenXML.Spreadsheet.CellData.HasValue failed this message: Object reference not set to an instance of an object".
How to duplicate the error.
Create a new Excel workbook - in cell A1 type: "This is a mixture of normal and " <ctrl-b> "bold" <ctrl-b> " text" - save spreadsheet.
NAV: /Departments/Financial Management/General Ledger/G/L Budgets - Edit Budget - Import from Excel - select the workbook and sheet just saved - ok to start the import.
