ContactPerson table data cleanup

Hi,

The CONTACTPERSON table has 6 million records and most of them are duplicates. We are planning to migrate data from AX2009 to D365, before migrating this table, we wanted to make sure that duplicates in CONTACTPERSON table are deleted. I tried relating this table with CUSTTABLE, VENDTABLE ,PURCHTABLE ,SALESTABLE ,SMMBUSRELTABLE. But there are only 50,000 records in common. When I tried comparing CONTACTPERSON table with DIRPARTYTABLE, almost 5.9 million records were in common for both these tables based on PartyID column. Can someone help me, how to find and clear these duplicates in CONTACTPERSON table.

Hi DevInspirer,

Find out why you duplicate data in your table and identify which fields are duplicated.

Walk through these fields and sort them, then delete them from the second duplicate data.
