Please help.....There appears to be no filtering available in our web clien for NAV 2015 yet the youtube videos I have previewed show that there are filters. We are unable to carry out our work effectively if no filters are available. - What have we missed?

Any help would be most gratefully received

    David Brooks ,

on your image i feel like you have available filters

go to your windows client : Web client field will appear only that the fields are available in your windows client

go to windows client and add all fields to the same list you are going to filter and come back to Web client and check

Are you talking about advance filters  or field name in filter list ?

    David,

As per the screen-shot attached, there seems to be a filter available for the list.

Which filter you are talking about? Can you please explain?

May be you are trying to search by Name and No. is selected as a Field to search.

If you want to search a Customer by its Name, please select Field as Name and then key-in the Customer Name to search for.

You will see only those columns in web client which are selected in the native client. When you will have columns visible, you will see the corresponding filtering options in the filter.

Thank you for all your assistance so far! What a great community. The Advance filter is available in the windows client, but not the web client.

I am able to filter by right clicking on each of the fields and picking the filter option, but really need the advanced filter.

    Thank you

What if you press right button on the heading of the column - do you have the filtering option there?
