CRM v8 On Prem - Can we add clickable images to a grid?

We have been asked to add icons to a grid that's clickable, can we do this? We've done it using third party tools which we'd like to avoid. Also I'd like to avoid having to build some custom javascript component. This is on CRM v8 On prem. Also I know this capability is possibly easier to do in CRM v9, but we're months away from getting to that, and i need this sooner.

Hi Samalex1701,

The closest you can come OOB is using Unicode symbols like Green Circle and Red Circle .
