Email not sent for SSRS report Batch job in D365 F&O

Hi Everyone,

Recently I have scheduled 1 batch Job for SSRS report, and kept the property as Email with desired recipients and kept its frequency as Once on every Weekday.

However, the Batch job is getting end successfully but I don't see any email sent in the history.

Also E-mail distributor batch is running. And other emails are getting send successfully.

Please suggest some solution on same. Thank you.

    Hi,

    What setup did you use? Are sending to fix email or using primary contact/purpose? Can you share the screenshot of how are you doing it?

    Did you try with your email for testing?

    Hi Vinit, please find below my Batch job parameters dialog. I am sending it to multiple recipients who are already receiving email attachments for other batch jobs running.

    The non working batch job is in the same group of the working batch jobs?

    Hi,

    Try a few things manually first:

    1. Print the report to Screen and check if the report generates.

    2. For sending email, in email setup are you using Exchange or SMTP. if you are using exchange make sure the user of batch job can send the emails.

    3. Try sending email to your address without batch and see if it works.

    If there is noting in Email history that means email itself is not generated. so I think there might be some filter/conditions so make sure report gets generated.

    Yes Mohammad, it is related to same Batch Group. Surprisingly, by mistake one of my colleagues, kept the one batch Job's frequency to every minute and email were getting send every minutes. I just changed the recurrence from Every minute to Once in a day. And now I don't see any thing in the history for same batch job.  And regarding one which I scheduled yesterday, today was its first recurrence and it has been ended successfully. But unfortunately I don't see anything in the history.

    Hi,

    Do you not see the batch job history or email history? Check the Sys admin ->setup ->Email ->Email history and check if you get information about emails generated and check Email status
