Restrict dll/exe files upload in SharePoint folder through Dynamics 365

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hi Team,

i have integrated Dynamics 365 v9 with SharePoint.

But I am unable to find a setting in Dynamics through which I can restrict upload of dll/exe files in SharePoint.

If I go to Documents area for account entity record, i want dynamics to restrict specific file type import to SharePoint.

Thank you in advance!

you can easily upload the exe files in sharepoint folder by using  applesupportnumber.net/apple-ipad-support steps while uploading

This restriction/validation has to be on the SharePoint side and not from Dynamics side.

As the user can always open up SharePoint and upload it there.

One another way is to create your own custom grid and services that talk to SharePoint.

I am talking about a pretty decent chunk of custom development.
