Capture the same form on multiple pages (url)

Hi all,

This question has been raised several times with no answer yet.

We are building a new website and some forms are available on multiple pages (for example, the contact form is displayed on every pages).
We do not want to configure 300+ captures on dynamics for the 300+ pages where the form is displayed.
I think the capture script should be form related and not page-related.

Is there a way to this ? (including dynamics forms in pages is not an option).

Thanks,
J

    Hi Adrian1511,

I know this is from last year, but it sounds like you have just a single contact us page?

We are looking for the same scenario as JulienL where we have the need forms on custom landing pages that trigger different actions for the user. I'm hoping this scenario is addressed by Microsoft.

    Hi,

    No solution as of now...

What we did was embeding the form into an iframe with always the same url (like form.php?formId=xx) so that it can work.

It's not a really good solution but it's working...

    Hey Julien and Helene,

We were facing the same problem!

What you can do is create a separate page where the form is stored (so you have one capture form).

The 300 pages should all have a unique link (with additional parameters, something like "?campaign=XY" in the URL) referring to the main form page. In the main form page you need to implement a piece of code which picks up the campaign ID from the URL and passes on the value to a hidden field in the form.

Like this you can distinguish from what page the form is submitted! This is how we did it :)

    Best,
    A

    Hi J,

There is no documentation explicitly mentioning this at the moment.

You can post your proposals to the Ideas forum and they will have the opportunity to be transformed into roadmaps.

According to the search results, no similar proposals have been made so far.

    Hi

thanks for your answer. Do you know if it's roadmaped ? or at least, be able to edit the form afterwards to add jokers in the captured url ?

    Thanks,

    J

    Hi J,

    It cannot be achieved unfortunately.

But you can try to create a marketing form and embed it into your external pages.

Here is the documentation about it.
