I have a scenario where in the Manufacturing unit is a separate entity and the Distribution Center (DC) is a separate entity. The Distribution entity buys all the finished products from the Manufacturing entity.
The requirement is to have the ability to receive all the License plates by scanning one Parent LP and later break the same once it is received at the DC. The packing structure at the manufacturing entity is multi level-:
1st level - Case (each case has a separate license plate ID)
2nd level - Pallet (A palter could have 100, 200 cases.....)
How can we achieve this? How will the packing structure get created in the receiving company? To receive using "LP receiving", I need to have the packing structure created right?
Can we achieve this by standard containerization process?
Note: If I am using ASN, then we have the packing structure created in the system as part of the XML interface for the ASN.
