Disable Tax Exemption number validation for a certain Group/vendor

in my organization we're using d365 F&O V10.0.42, we have the validation for tax exempt number set to Domestic + EU member states. However, for expense management setup I created vendors for employees, for which tax exempt numbers are not required. My question is, is there any way I can exclude these employee vendors from the tax exempt number validation, either on the vendor level or on the vendor group level?

    Hi,
     
    We have the same scenario, as we have vendors who are employees and therefore, they dont have tax exempt numbers. 
     
    We created a dummy number that we use for multiple\many vendors. Its dirty, but it works.

    Do you mean a dummy tax exempt number? If so, I did that actually, but I was wondering if there is a better option, because we use also localization tax reports, so in some reports these dummy tax exempt numbers get pulled in these reports.
