How to learn Cost Accounting Module in the right sequence ?

Dear 

If we want to learn the Cost Accounting module in the proper sequence , meaning all the processes involved, what is the best way to go at it , is there a proper methodology? 

what comes first ? any prerequisites ?

    Hello Patrick,

    Do you have the Dynamics AX Training materials available for the cost accounting module? They are a first start. Other than that, there is not much available in regards to documentations, training materials and alike. Do you have some specific requests?

    Obviously i will need to go through the whole Training material, but i was hoping for some kind of outline that would allow me to know what i am supposed to cover.

    Hello Patrick, The Training material is a good start but it won't help you with specific questions that your customers might have. So probably the best - and only - option is testing the whole thing (module).     I wonder how the Production tab in the Item groups is set up.  When posted a transaction, what accounts will it hit, what's in and out.  I think this would be a good start in terms of training.
