Content settings not resolved in test email, is it a bug?

Hi all!

I am setting up an email in a greenfield D365MKT implementation.

The unsubscribe link in the test email (using the standard placeholder from the content settings) is not available, however.

I tested a blank email and an email based on a Microsoft template. The href reference appears to be an empty string.

I checked the content settings I selected when sending the test email, and it all seems alright.

But this is not the only omission: the other tags from Content Settings are not resolved either (physical address for instance).

Validation of the email design is not resulting in errors, including the critical parts from the content settings.

Does anybody know whether there is a bug here or what else could be wrong?

    Hi Guido,

    This isn't a bug, Test Send works differently than those emails sent in customer journeys.  For the time being, the workaround is to setup a quick customer journey to validate your setups if necessary.  We have several items in our backlog that we are prioritizing to address some of these issues.  Please watch for our update blogs and readme to stay abreast of the changes.
