Hi,

I got several Stopped timesheet workflows with error message: 'Stopped (error): Posted status cannot be changed to Approved status'. Picking one Stopped timesheet workflow, I saw its status is 'Posted'. So the timesheet it self looks OK without any problem in it. I checked with my sup who manages the timesheet workflow & learned that he has no modification on the timesheet workflow at all. So I'm really confused & don't know what have cause these workflow stopping. I've tried to search with a hope to look for any posts that have similar issue as I do, but not successfully. Please advise me!

Hi Thai,

I have also noticed this. The causr is that persons are able to submit the timesheet twice. The first approval will post the timesheet. The second will raise the error. You can create an incident at Microsoft support for this. My customer did not do it as they have other priorities.

There are fixes for similar workflow problems on LCS, but not yet for the timesheets.

When you click the submit button from the AX client and before click OK also a second time, it is quite easy to submit twice.

Hello Karim,

This post is 4 years old and possibly related to an older R3 version.

Can you please create a new version, provide some information about the system version that you operate and the exact problem.

Also provide some supporting screenprints if possible.

Hi Ludwig,

Just confirming that this was still an issue 16th June 2022. At that point in application version 10.0.1084.134, application release 10.0.24.

First line below submitted 55 sec after the second line and stopped with error: Stopped (error): Approved status cannot be changed to In review status

I'll check if we have any customizations in this area. And if not - file a ticket with MS.
