Hi!
is it possible to define a workflow which sets a certain non-standard form if a contact type (eg. consultant) is selected? This would be super helpful!
eg: Consultant --> consultant form
non-consultant -> standard form
Thanks!!
Best

This should be possible via JavaScript but not from workflow. Most probably an on-load script i.e. whenever a value1 from possible contact type is selected, it will change the form to be any non-standard form you select.

The only supported way to do this using javascript to navigate forms based on field value.Above posted first article mentioned that but there is an issue with last viewed forms it will load twice if last viewed forms is different. Second options was mentioned plugin ,which I dont think is supported as this would have impacted when you open form editor , it will always open same forms.
And the third option Andrew's article should work when you open forms using ribbon or some event.
In my opinion the best way is to show hide section and create same forms if you want to achieve your requirements very simple way.
