IDMF Installation from LCS

Hi All

I'm currently sitting with a db that is about 1tb, allot of transactions that are older. Where planning on using the idmf to get a better picture over the data that could be cleaned before moving to 365 F&O.

But the idmf on local tools on lcs is 8kb and wont run with the error not compatible with your system.

Server is 2016 and local machine is windows 10.

Tried with backward compability but if I remember the last time I used the idmf the installation was bigger than 8kb.

Am i totaly wrong or am I correct in my confusion?

Were you able to resolve your issue; and if not, did you open a support incident with Microsoft as recommended by Nikolaos?

As I suspected.

Yeah done that. Done some grouping by year and checked linked transactions.

But it is also Nice to check or delete from and official tool:)

Seems that the file is broken, you should create support case for Microsoft.

Meanwhile you can already check which are biggest tables in your database, perhaps you have a lot of logs / history which can be cleaned up manually.
