Business Process Flows Skipping Stages

We have a business process flow which has around 6 stages.

however, sometime at the Stage 2 itself we see the "Finish" button, and, if we refresh the page, it gets changed to the "Next Stage" button. This doesn't happen most of the time but quiet frequent.

Does anyone know any solution for it? Is it a bug from Microsoft itself ?

Thanks a lot for your response VJ,

I checked all the scripts but couldn't find any glitch, Also, sometime I get this error, "Last stage in the active path reached. Next stage does not exist." Do you think it is an inbuilt error or a custom error ? Have you ever seen such error ?

I have not seen this issue in any of our D365 orgs with Wave 2 updated.

To rule out any of your own custom code issues. Evaluate the BPF to have groundwork prior to creating a ticket with MS.

1. Check any custom Plugin or Workflow associated with the BPF at each stage. Try to disable the custom plugin or workflows and re-test.

2. Check if you have any script associated with Stages.

3. Check for any integration code which is updating the business process stages ( Traverse Path)
