D365 Synapse Link is taking too long for initial synchronization

Hi,

At my company, we have been using the 'Export to Datalake' add-on to access D365 F&O data by exporting it to an Azure Data Lake. As it is going to be deprecated, we started migrating to Synapse Link.

We created a PowerApp environment for D365 UAT and enabled SQL row version tracking. Then, a Synapse Link was created from that PowerApp environment by choosing a Data Lake, Synapse workspace, and Spark pool. The Link seems to have been created successfully. However, we've tried exporting two F&O tables, and it has been three days now, but the status is still 'Initial sync is in progress.'

I am not sure where it has gone wrong. I can see the tables under the Synapse Lake Database, but when I query those tables, they are empty.

Would appreciate any guidance.

Hi, we are facing a similar issue since yesterday. We have unlinked and relinked our environment 3 times already, but no success.

Hi I got the solution for this. You need to update the dynamics LCS with the quality updates in F&O. The platform release version should be greater then 7068.99 and updated version is 7068.120. All the fixes for synapse are made for this version.
