Hi all. I want to know who did confirm our Purchase Order

Can anyone tell me ?

Hi Anna C,

Assuming that you have the necessary user rights you can confirm a purchase order by clicking the respective 'confirm' button in the action bar on top of the purchase order.

In case you need a document printed click the confirmation button.

If you have a role assigned with limited user rights then you might not see this button.

Hi,

You can check these details on confirmation journal (inquiry form) if you have enabled the created by and created date fields on the table.

Hi Anna,

I was just checking some old threads and was reading about it and i found a clue what you exactly want to achieve.

There is a table "VendPurchOrderJournal" so whenever we confirm any PO, the record got inserted in this table. You just have have to enable "Created By" field from AOT on this table because By default it is set to NO.

Ask your developer to do this change and run the deployment. Once Deployment is completed, create a new a PO and confirm it and check that out in created by field.

Please have a look at Junaid's response.

There is no field that allows you checking retrospectively who pressed the confirm button unless you make a modification.

Before doing that, may I ask for what reason you need that?

Can't you get the information you are looking out for - for example - by the requestor field that is available in the PO header?

Ultimately this person is responsible for the PO irrespective of the one who pressed the confirm button at the end of the day.

Hi Anna,

That "created by" field on PO list page is under table "PurchTable" so that basically covers who created the PO and you are looking for who confirm the PO.

By the way, in normal business practice the person who creates the PO, he also confirm that as well.

Did you configured workflow on PO screen? Can you please elaborate what is the approval hierarchy in your case?
