changing schedule tab bookable resource bookings query

Posted on by 5

Hello,

I have a schedule board, but I want to change the query that are bringing up the bookable resource bookings. as I want to show different types of bookable resource bookings in different tabs, although all of my bookings are saved in bookable resource booking entity.

Thanks

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the question here is not about adding filter criteria or only showing specific resources, but rather limiting the bookings that are displayed in the Gantt chart. This is not possible as of today. Since the question has come up in different projects I have forwarded it to the product management team.

There are two ways to achieve this- filter resources and filter bookings. If bookings of type A only goes to resources of category 1, type B goes to resources category 2, then filtering by resource categories should also achieve the same objective.

If above is not the case, then you may want to edit Filter Layout to add Booking Type in filter criteria and then filter by Booking Type and save the filters.

I use Roles against a resource to show and hide them on a schedule board.

So setup roles and then assign those roles to resources.

Then on the schedule board do the following:

    1. Open the Schedule board you want to filter resources on

    2. Show filter on the left and set the role in the filter you wish to filter resources for.

    3. In filter pain towards the top click options --> Save current filters as default.

    4. Repeat about 3 steps for each schedule board.
