Add user to financial report

Hi All,

While resetting financial report data mart i clear the user and companies. After reset when i open the report i am getting below error.

When i click the ok, I get user doesn't have appropriate permission error.

Can anyone help me how can i add user back ? I am using Tier 1 Azure hosted one box with version of 10.0.7 update31.

Probably go through them to see if they help you fixing this issue.

also check for security roles assigned to user in D365FO as it is used in MR to grant access and try after making any security changes after 15 mins for sync up to process

From the above link my issue maps to Cause 2, if i see the resolution 2. First step is to run

Run MR as a setup as an administrator. My queries here are

1. is MR refers to set up file under this directory 'K:\MROneBox\MRInstallDirectory' ?

2. In order to run this we need admin permission, Since it is a Tier1 environment (by default machine which Microsoft provide for development) Dev i don't have admin access.

If they providing option to clear user account and companies in while resetting data mart, there might be a way we can add back. Any help will be well appreciated.

Hi Rahul,

I have the admin rights in AX (System Administrator user), Before i reset the user and companies i was able to open the MR report design. Also i tried by giving permission to Security Administrator.

Hello Guruprasanna M,

Before resetting the datamart; are you able to open MR hassle-free?

Or is this the first time you are facing such error?

Have you checked with technical team if they can find a solution for this?

Else; case log to Microsoft without delay.
