Hello everyone! Does anyone have a quick solution in mind how to verify stock levels in BC Cloud, minus reservations? In other words, we have a situation where there are 100 pieces of item A in stock and we can verify it from several levels, but 25 pieces are reserved for a sales order and I would be interested in seeing that I have 75 pieces at my disposal because 25 are already reserved with another user. We may play around with the analysis mode on the records, but doesn't anyone have a quick solution?
Business Central has some options for you to see reserved quantities. Here's an example of the Item Availability by Event page. It will show you what you have on inventory and then list all of the transactions in the system that impact availability (purchase, sales, transfers, etc.) There are also two columns that show reserved quantities "Reserved Requirement" which is how much of an outbound qty is reserved and "Reserved Receipt" which is how much of an inbound or on hand qty is reserved. In this example there is a sales order with a qty of one reserved, which is shown on the top line. There are 1113 on inventory, 1 reserved and 1112 "Projected Available"
Not sure if this meets all of your requirements, but hopefully it's a good start.
Good luck,
Jason Chance
