D365 HR required fields

Hi All,

I just want to know what is the indicator of required fields in D365 HR, some are highlighted with red but FirstName and Last Name looks normal but it is a required field.
Now our BA was confused when doing the field mapping as some was not identified as required when they are.

Any list of required fields?

Hi Chid,

If you are hiring an employee without a position, I believe the required fields are first name, last name, legal entity, and employment start date.

Hello Chid,

Field made mandatory on the table and form levels are identified easily with a red border. Some button are enabled and based on some other fields. The case is that of worker creation. You would notice that, the Hire button is disabled until you have inputted a name(First/middle/last).
