Notes on an entity - can they be made private?

Hi

I've had a request that when notes are added to a contact entity or account entity in D365 (Sales) can those notes only be visible to certain users? A bit like a field security profile I suspect but on the actual "notes" section. I've never had this request before as the whole purpose of notes, in my opinion, is for continuity of client/customer care. These notes may be sensitive in nature due to the work being done, so I can see why they would want, however I can't see how this could be done.

What other options would there be for them to have sensitive information within the record but only visible to certain users.

thanks

CM

Depending on the cascading process, viewing can be restricted.

    Hello,

There is no easy way of doing it. The only thing that I can think of is the plugin that will handle RetrieveMultiple message for annotation entity, and tweak the filter based on the calling user.
