Accessing the auto backups (Backup & Restore)

I realize Microsoft backs up an organization's CRM instance daily. I know these backups can be accessed from the Admin center and I can see my organization's backups.

My question is, can these backups be exported into some spreadsheet format?

I see the restore button - but what if I just want to look at the data from a given day in the last month?

If this cannot be done, is there a way to manually back up all the D365 CRM data to a file?

Unfortunately, you can't do that. It is is not in our power any more to access the backup databases. Also, there is no such option to export a database to excel If I understand what you meant correctly.

Yes, that's what I meant. Thank you for the response.

When you say 'not in our power to access the backups' -- do you mean we can only restore from an entire backed up instance rather than simply view its data?
