Modify a subscription form so it doesn't create leads?

Hello,

Our current subscription form on our website creates a lead when a user enters all their information on the form then presses 'submit'. Is it possible to edit this marketing/subscription from so that it doesn't create a lead with every submission? We would still want it to create the respective contact and account record, but just not a lead.

Thank you.

    Hi Partner,
Checking 'Generate leads without matching' field value under 'Summary' tab:
This setting controls whether or not the form will attempt to match an existing lead (using the specified Lead matching strategy), or if instead it will always create a new lead for each submission.
Set to No to apply the matching strategy, or to Yes to create a new lead every time.

I hope you can verify my answer if it helps you! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
    Regards,
    Leah

    Hi Leah,

Thank yo so much for your response.

If I update the marketing form to 'update contacts only' it will still generate a lead. I want marketing form submissions to generate a contact and account record if it is net new, but NOT a lead.  Do you know if this is doable?

    Many thanks.

    Hi Partner,
In marketing form header, you can set this setting--Update contacts/leads
Choose which types of records can be created or updated in response to a form submission. Usually you should leave this set to Contacts and leads, which will update both types of records and link them together as needed to support lead scoring and insights.
However, you might instead choose to update Only contacts or Only leads if you want to prevent one of these types of records from being changed. If you choose Only contacts or Only leads, you can even allow form submissions without updating the contact or lead.

I hope you can verify my answer if it helps you! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
    Regards,
    Leah
