Create Employee and Contractor Subtypes

Hi,

Is it possible to create subtypes of employees and contractors? I mean, I need to have Professional Trainee, for example.

The best option is that Professional Trainee would be a subtype of worker, is that possible? If not, is there a way to make Professional Trainee a subtype of employee (ONLY)?

Hi Ana,

This is something you might want to store within Employment Categories. This is the setup:

And then it can be assigned as part of the employment of the person:

The maintypes (Employee & Contractor) will remain, but this can be used as extra layer.

This functionality is part of the new Benefit Management features.

I'm sorry, I was referring to the other form, this one:

I can't see where can I edit the Employment Category of a worker after creating a worker.

Hi Ana,

Thats actually the employment details (within the employment) of the worker.

I'm currently not in the office, I'd wanted I can share some screenshots end of the day.

Hi Ana,

I'm not sure if this is due to the fact you have a trial version..

But if you navigate to System Administration > Feature Management..

(if this is available) you can turn these on.. and you should be able to use those fields.
