URL Field: Change display text

Hi,

in our environment we have created a URL column.
This includes a relatively long deep link to a Microsoft team.

Is there a way (JavaScript, etc.) to change the displayed text? For example, "Open team".

Thanks in advance.

I have the same question (0)

not possible with the OOB control. It's possible with a PCF control (I created this one https://pcf.gallery/custom-url-control/ but I don't give support and it works only inside a form and not inside a grid)

    Hi Patrick.Grebe,

If you are not good in PCF (Power Apps component framework) then you can also use HTML for that purpose.

Let me know if you need more details.

    Thanks

    Hi Abdul Wahab,

    thanks for the response.

I haven't dealt with PCF before and we only have this one requirement. I think that would be a bit too much.

HTML sounds good. Do you have an example here?

We currently have a standard view in the model-driven app (Read grid only) and, as I said, we would just like to show "Open Team" here instead of the complete deep link. Is nicer for users and easier to understand. Should then look like this:

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

HTML control can not be added on View. It can only be placed on Entity form.

Please mark my answer verified if this is helpful!

    Hi Patrick.Grebe,

I showed images in the view but I need to check whether it is possible for a link or not. Your efforts can make it possible... There must be a solution.
