Customizing the vendor aging report

Hi,

I have a requirement to customize the vendor aging report in D 365 FO.I need to add few fields.

What could be the best approach to customize this report. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Keshav,

As you can't extend reports, you have to create a copy of the SSRS report and extend the menu item to run your report. There is documentation about the steps here: Customize through extension and overlayering - Finance & Operations | Dynamics 365 | Microsoft Docs

Thanks Andre..I knew these. I just wanted to know which class has to be modified for the vendor aging report to populate the data as i could see there are so many calculations class involved in this report.

Hi Keshav,

You can start with the VendAgingReportDP class. You are correct that there are calculations done using methods in other classes, like CustVendBalanceList. Depending on your exact requirements, you have to extend the temporary table for this report and extend methods.

Note that the CustVendBalanceList class is also used for the customer aging balances. Make sure the changes will not break the logic for the customer balance calculations.

Hi Keshav,

Even I have similar requirement but I only need to add a grand total to Vendor Aging report in USD.

But whatever changes I made it is not reflecting in the front end even tough I have overridden the main method of Controller class.

Can you please let me know what other classes needs to be overridden.

Any help on this would be appreciated.

Hii,

I have got a similar requirement i just need to add a new static field company currency in vendaging report, if you have achieved kindly let me know which class and method i can extend and achieve my goal.
