Exporting Sales Orders with Items to Excel

Hello,

I am in need of tracking the items on our sales orders in excel.  At this time I can only view the items by looking in each sales order or exporting an order confirmation or work order to excel.  However the order confirmation and work order exports each sales order into each tab.  I would like a consolidated list showing each sales order and the items the sales order in list view.  Is that possible?

Thanks in advance.

You have two option. one easy and another little need to work.

    1) Export the data of Sales line table from Rapid start functionality - You can select the the sales line table and also select the selected fields and apply filters on it. You can export the data and can manage those.

    2) Create one new page using the sales line with desired filter and whenever needed open the page and get the data, you can also export the same to excel by Export to excel (Ctrl + E) and if you have also installed the excel add-in then from next time you can refresh the excel itself to get the data. (To create the new page you need to have some knowledge of development environment)

Hi Tim! You can also create a "query" in NAV, linking Sales Header with Sales Lines. Then you can connect from Excel through ODATA source :-)

    Good luck!!

    Hi!

I got the same problem with you, here is how I solved them,

    community.dynamics.com/.../255423

"Alright I got it. So here is my reference

    www.olofsimren.com/add-order-lines-to-navigation-pane

What I did was open the "Qty on Sales Order" on Item card, There's gonna be a Sales Line window coming up; Tweaking a little filter to match the criteria on what I wanted to then walaa. Got it! Just export them to Excel and its all good!

Thanks to Olof Simren! :) Cheers!"

    :) Hope this helps
