Sales sequence reporting incorrect

Hi,

We have set up a report in PowerBI to show where records are at within sales sequences in Dynamics 365 Sales hub.

The report has thrown up a bug whereby some records are showing as still being attached to the sequence even after they have converted and exited the sequence. When you go into the record itself it says it isn't attached to a sequence.

This is affecting our reporting as we can't see how well the sales team are doing with getting through the sequence tasks.

I have raised this with MS and they came back saying they couldn't resolve it due to "the support regarding this topic was not yet made active as we would have to be listening to changes on any entity."

Can anyone help decipher this and why they wouldn't be able to look into it?
