Store Database not populating

Hi,

I have configured a new store database and sent down the N-jobs, the messaging appears to be working fine but the data is not being populated to the store DB.

I have checked that the store ID, register ID etc match in all areas of the config, a new POS config was created ok and i can't see what might be missing or wrong.

I was looking to the retaillog and retailerrors tables but there is nothing in there.

Anyone able to help, at the moment i'm just getting the 'failed to initialize' error when trying to start the POS.

Thanks

    Hi there,

could you give me some extra info on this issue:

-on your HQ do you have records written in the Incoming and outgoing messageDB

-on your POS-DB do you have incoming and outgoing message?

-please verify if the data on the POS-DB is actually there?

Go to you POS-DB on the AxRetailPOS (or whatever you called it) and check the PriceDiscTable or another table (HCMWorker, RetailStoreTable etc.). If you see entries in the Tables, the data is there.

Also check if your "communication lines" are open. Just to be sure I would recommend to deactivate the Firewall on bothe the terminal and on the store DB. Check if you get a ping (in both directions) and if a RDP connection (in both directions).

Another option is to check on the Store DB on the Table RetailLog. There you have a detailed Log of all errors. Look at the Field LOGSTRING. Maybe you will find some usefull ideas there.

Any additional information would be helpful.

    Hope this helped,

    PCO

Sorry, this was down to the sync service name missing an 'S', we had a 5 next to it so hadn't picked up it was missing. All appeared normal except the DB not populating but sorted now.
