VM License Issue

We have a AX 2012 R3 Demo VM that we downloaded from Partnersource and used to help develop a piece of software on to use in a proof of concept demo.  The license for Windows 2012 Server on the VM has expired and when we try to rearm it says there is no license key available.  We were in the process of getting a live server in place to move this to, but the DEMO needs to be done to prove to our management that it's possible.  Is there any way we can get that VM licensed so it will run longer than an hour at a time?

I can't say what problem you have with rearming (you might want to ask Microsoft for support), nevertheless another approach is using your own license for Windows Server. You could use licenses from MSDN subscription for this.

    Hi.

The VMs 2012 only demo R3 is for a time 120 days (I think), then Windows Server 2012 will lose the time of grace by being a test Windows only, I think that the MSDN Keys do not apply.

It would be to download a new VM 2012 R3 demo or better yet, create a WM 2012 Azure R3 using the LCS here templates have a blog about this geeks.ms/.../ax-2012-r3-en-azure.aspx

Why wouldn't be able to use your own license keys? I did it before without any problem. It's a Windows Server installation as any other.

    Hi Martin.

I also tried once and it gave me an error message when loading new licenses; checking on some forums I saw that a Windows Server 2012 Trial is different to Windows Server 2012 Full versión.

    Regards,
