Change Sequence Step Owner from Account Owner

I'm looking to use Sales Accelerator sequences on Accounts.  The default is to assign the sequence steps/activities to the Account Owner.  Is there a way to change default owner?  For example, we have a CSM field on the account and would like the items in a sequence to be assigned to that user.

I've been able to reassign the activities as they are created to the correct owner using Power Automate however, the new owner can only see the current activity in the "Up Next" section.  They cannot see the following steps until the current step is completed, the following activity is created and reassigned through the flow.  I've also tried to use permissions to make all sequence items readable however, the CSM can still only see the current and past steps/activities assigned to them.

    Were you able to find a fix for the assignment of tasks to the sequence user vs the account / contact owner? I was going to use Power Automate as well but it seems like a very core feature need to be able to assign tasks / calls / emails to a different rep automatically.

    No solution found so I've abandoned using Sequences.  It's too bad because the feature could be really useful but needs much more flexibility.
