How to send workflow one user to another user

Hi Friends,

My requirement is if user submit the workflow then it go to second user, second user view the request and then second user send to third user and third user will approve it. Is this possible?

After submit process completed, in action button i want to remove approve menu button and place of approve menu button i want to add view menu button and if second user view the request then request should send to third user and third user should approve it.

Here, Place of approve menu button i want to add view menu button and approve menu button should remove.

Is this scenario possible?

Please share your information.

I would not Tag such question under development tags, as this is doable without any customization. You can use a workflow review task, rather than using an approval element. Can you see following image please?

As the word sounds, the Review is about revising a request and making sure if that is in order or if any modifications are required. A reviewer get rights to review a purchase order and modify it if needed any modification. A reviewer is not an approver. Approval comes after review. Please go through next URL for detailed reading. Configure your workflow and feel its behaviour.

Yes this is possible, and it do not need any customizations. I am not going to recommend you use of managerial hierarchy because I don’t know if your approvers will be as per organizational hierarchy of your organization.

Again and again, you are asking, where you need to write code.

Everything is not done by code; Why to code something which can be done by standard system? Please don’t follow blindly to anyone if they told you to start coding. You may code, if really needed.

Leaving details behind, as you said previously you are new to workflows so my question is have you ever tried to configure a simple workflow? Did you went through URL I provided you yesterday?

Thank you for your understanding of avoiding coding. Providing you code was not a difficult thing. I have done lot of coding related to workflows and this is possible to send workflow for approval to user of your choice (by run-time selection) but if we can avoid we should, just to keep the application standard, so that it can help us and Microsoft for upgrades
